CHARLOTTE COOMBE

Charlotte Coombe is a British freelance translator working from Spanish and French into English. Her published fiction titles include Abnousse Shalmani’sKhomeini, Sade and Me (World Editions, 2016) which won a PEN Translates award in 2015, Traces of Sandalwood by Anna Soler-Pont and Asha Miró (World Editions, 2016), and The President’s Room by Ricardo Romero (Charco Press, 2017). Her translations of Argentinian and Oulipian author Eduardo Berti’s The Imagined Land (Deep Vellum) and Colombian author Margarita García Robayo’s Fish Soup (Charco Press) were both published in 2018.
