The first panel meeting for the spring/summer edition of newspanishbooks will take place at the Spanish Economic & Commercial Office in London on Tuesday 26th of January at 10.30h. Spanish publishers and literary agents have submitted almost 200 new books with translation rights available for consideration of the panel. The members of the panel this time are: Nick Caistor (literary critic and translator, representing BCLT), Peter Bush (translator), Sophie Lewis (Dalkey Archive), Pete Ayrton (Serpent's Tale), Jason Wilson (Professor University Collegue London) and Sara Lutyens ( literary agent and bookseller).
Reader's reports will be commisioned on the books that the panel decides. The panel will then meet for a second time and take a final decision on the selection of books to be included in the "UK Panel's Choice" section of the website.
