A logbook for a new way of facing life. A response to the pandemic through writing. After a cataclysm of colossal dimensions provoked by something minuscule that has infected everything, one voice reflects, devises, remembers or recites, maybe prays. It perceives that, beneath the world crisis unleashed by the pandemic, there is another epidemic disease, more local but of similar dimensions, or perhaps even more serious: one affecting our ways of life, our relationship with reality and with words. The voice, a pure exercise of reason, peels away layers of themes and variations in a moral melody, at times is modulated narratively, and at others as a theatrical monologue or a poetic or philosophical enquiry, and in which every register, from the most serious to the humorous, are woven together in a sort of combined art of conceptual and musical escape.
