Jordi Sierra i Fabra (Barcelona, 1947) is a key contemporary Spanish writer. The quality of his large body of work, with over three hundred titles and translations into twenty-five languages, has been acknowledged on innumerable occasions, receiving prizes such as the National Award for Children’s Literature (2007).
Interested in promoting literature amongst under-eighteens, he has created a charity with his name that, every year, gives an award to a young promising writer.
